Lord Lieutenant's Covid Recognition Awards
CRANLEIGH FOOD BANK has been awarded a special recognition for exceptional service throughout the pandemic by the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux. The Lord Lieutenant’s Deputy, Robert Napier CBE DL, presented the award to us on Friday the 13th of August 2021.
Our next session will be taking place on
Friday the 24th of September 2021
from 09:45 to 11:00
After over a year Cranleigh Food Bank is pleased to announce a return to face-to-face collections and a chat over a cuppa in our new courtyard cafe!
Drop in for free refreshments between 9:45 am and 11 am on Fridays
Looking forward to catching up with you !
Please note the following:
We will no longer be delivering parcels so all food parcels will have to be collected from the rear entrance of the Baptist Church in St James’s Place, between 10:00 am and 11 am on Fridays. Please do let us know you have a voucher, by email, by Thursday afternoon prior to the Friday session you wish to collect from.
It is with regret that we are unable to fulfill requests that have been self-referred – please ensure you have a voucher in hand prior to Friday mornings (and tell us about it before Thursday afternoon!!!). If you are not sure how to get one, refer to the website www.cranleighfoodbank.org
Fresh food will no longer be automatically included in your parcel, but there may be some available each week, depending on donations, on our "self service" table.
This week, we are in need of:
TINNED MEAT, TINNED FISH, TINNED FRUITS
TINNED VEGETABLES, TINNED DESERTS, HONEY/JAM,
TINNED POTATOES, SMALL COFFEE JARS
Please note that we cannot accept donations of fresh produce or out of date items...
Demonstrating God's love by providing food, support and a listening ear
to people in need in Cranleigh
and the surrounding villages.
